I do remember this because I was the one who had nominated him for this well-deserved award, and I remember him so well, coming to the occasion with his simple daily outfit, and when I was handing him the award, as if it was a nice hello to him and nothing more.
Smiling he humored the audience with laughter and gentle attitude – yet he so pleasantly enlightened the audiences’ minds with literary comments and memories and codes from Garrison …. What an amazing dear scholar he was.
God bless his soul, and he will be remembered forever. What an amazing individual and pride to true humanity he was and will be forever.
Regards and respect,
